    Play-off Rounds 9 January 2016

Blue Downs Spurs home ground played host to the latest round of play-off fixtures on the road to the 2016 Metropolitan Premier Cup.

We saw a mixer of teams who played in the first qualifying rounds in October 2015 and some first drafts for the season.

The results on the day were extremely tight as 3 of the head-to-head fixtures had to go to penalties as there was nothing to split the teams after 2 matches. FC Kapstadt, Eastern Rovers and YMO St Lukes knocked out Lansdowne FC, Idas Valley and Ariel FC respectively.

In what was probably the easiest advancement on the day Everton FC saw off FC Khayalitsha 4-0 on aggregate.

Norway Parks advanced past Rock a Fellas on the away goals rule after two drawn matches.

The following also qualified from the days action Bishop Lavis FC, Red Rovers, Mighty Spurs, FC Burndale, Hanover Park and KTC All Stars.

More action is taking place oon Sunday, 10 January at the same venue.
