Bloemfontein Celtic proved to be an early threat towards the defense of Tuks and even managed to win a corner kick and a shot on target in the fledgling stages of the match.
A great corner was sent off target by the header of Tumi Radebe of Tuks.
With little other goal mouth action in the first half, it ended goalless.
Bloemfontein started the second-half with better attacking play and even managing to win a free kick from a dangerous position in which the team managed to score. Katleho Neels finished a great free kick from Gomolemo Rampai.
A minute later Bloemfontein Celtic double the lead from a great finish by Vusumuzi Mayo.
Both teams made changes with Bloemfontein Celtic taking out Jermaine Lewis for Vusumuzi Mayo and Amatuks taking out Byron Mangena for Nqobile Kumalo.
A great opportunity was missed by Thungolethu Ndlovu of Tuks after coming up one-on-one against the keeper. Bloemfontein made another change Maxwell Tshabalala for Desi Scholtz. Bloemfontein had another opportunity to notch their third late on but failed to do so through the captain Gomolemo Rampai
