    These two oppositions began the first half encounter with an exhilirating soccer performance at a jammed packed Erica Park in Belhar.

    In the early moments of the match, Wits mid-fielder, Janovanne September slotted a well taken shot from a free kick into the back of the net, giving Wits the lead.

    Nevertheles, Old Mutual's Kyle Carelse took on Bidvest defender Keegan Allan and scored a well curled goal.

    Just before the half time break, Old Mutual's defence was caught flat-footed by Lehlogonolo Mateu who scored a beautiful volley from a lay off pass by his team mate, making it two goals to one.
