It was an exhilarating game between the defending champions, Supersport United (known as Amatsatsatsa) against the local township boys, Project Playground for a spot in a semi-final of the Premier Cup.

The first half encounter was ablaze when these sides were played a similar type of attacking formation that resulted in the creation of scoring opportunities.

Just before the end of the first half, SuperSport defender Katlego got his name on the score sheet, when he scored from a cross bar rebound to put his team in the lead by one goal to zero.

Second half Project Playground got awarded with a penalty from a handball. But their striker, Buzwe failed to convert after his shot was denied by SuperSport goal stopper Mondli.
